With DA328 for army Socage won a tender of the Ministry of Dedenseissued, since Socage has proved to be the best producer of equipments for aerial working platforms. Today the Italian Army have a Socage DA328 on Iveco 5,6 ton truck. This model is the most performing in its segment due to its extreme compactness. This unit is able of a maximum working height of 28 m and a maximum working outreach of 16 m, with a safe working load of 225 kg (2 operators + tools). DA328 is equipped with a multi-area stabilization system which allows the operator to partially or fully deploy the outriggers as well as to extend the cross-beams just on one working side; this system makes the DA328 a very versatile platform and ideal for working in busy urban areas. The rotation of the aerial part is continuous thanks to a system composed by a slewing ring and a worm gear; the continuous rotation increases sensibly the equipment productivity avoiding any downtime due to the aerial part repositioning. The rotation of the aluminum basket (sized 1800x700xh 1100 mm) is 90° + 90°.
