ARTICULATED OFF-ROAD AERIAL PLATFORM A314 ON ISUZU
 | DESCRIPTION
A314 mounted on pick-up Isuzu D-Max is an articulated aerial platform developed for off-road interventions where a standard platform would not be able to access or deploy the outriggers.
Able of a maximum working height of 13.5 m and a maximum outreach of 6.5 m, the A314 has got a safe working load (SWL) of 225 kg (2 operators + tools).
What is really new and innovative about this model is the concept of an auto-levelling column. In fact thanks to a system of hydraulic rams and cylinders electrically controlled, the column and outriggers self-stabilize and self-level, recovering the pick-up inclination.
The column is based on a system of cylinders and joints that allow movements in four directions, the system has two angular security controls: an angle transducer and an inclinometer. The A314 on Isuzu is able to face downhill, on both sides, up to 8° inclination, a feature difficult to find on another articulated aerial platform.
